PURPOSE

The Accounting Manager is a key role within our Accounting and Finance function. This role interacts and collaborates and a meaningful way with various areas of the Company as we grow and drive value for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of accounting (AP, AR, General Ledger entries, bank reconciliations, cash applications, and payroll)
  • Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, cash management, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for cash management including performing wire transfers and ACH payments
  • Maintain professional banking relationships
  • Assist with the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports
  • Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
  • Hire, train and manage staff accountants
  • Manage financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
  • Monitor and analyze financial accounting data
  • Produce Cash Flow projections
  • Assist with the company’s financial audit
  • Make recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Streamline and ensure consistent application of transactions between companies
  • Maintain files and comply with record retention requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience in Accounting
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
