Recruit Position Duties

  • Oversee all operations of the resort.
  • Process and submit payroll to HR department.
  • Hold weekly staff meetings and owners' meetings. Hold monthly safety meetings.
  • Ensure compliance to operating policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Lead all key property issues including capital projects, refurbishments, and customer service.
  • Handle complaints and oversee service recovery procedures.
  • Responsible for preparation, presentation, and achievement of resort operating budget.
  • Manage ongoing profitability of the resort, ensure revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure all decisions are made is the best interest of the resort and management.
  • Deliver resort budget goals and set other short- and long-term strategic goals for the property.
  • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
  • Ensure the monthly financial outlooks for the Resort are on target and accurate.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for the Owners and Board Members.
  • Oversee and manage all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.
  • Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of guest complaints.
  • Provide effective leadership to all Resort Team Members.
  • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
  • Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations (both internal & external audits).
  • Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Performs all other related duties and projects as assigned.

Recruit Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in business management OR equivalent industry job related experience.
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in hotel/resort operations at a property of similar size and/or quality.
