Capital Vacations is seeking a highly skilled Director of Communications who will serve as both a visionary leader and an exceptional individual contributor. This role is uniquely designed for a strategic thinker with a passion for content creation and a proven track record in both leading initiatives and executing high-level communication strategies.

Strategic Content Creation:
- Craft compelling, high-quality content across various formats including press releases, digital campaigns, white papers, and video scripts.
- Tailor content for diverse and nuanced audiences across B2C and B2B customers (200+ segments), media, investors, and internal teams.
- Lead the content lifecycle from conceptualization to publication, ensuring alignment with our brand’s voice and strategic objectives.
- Rigorously proofread and edit content, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and brand integrity.

Communications Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement annual communications strategy and plan that amplifies our brand and supports our business goals.
- Serve as the primary architect of our communications framework, optimizing processes and tools for maximum impact.
- Forge and steward relationships with key vendors and agencies, especially in areas of social media, industry engagement, and reputation management.

Organizational Influence:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and effective communication strategy and alignment in key messaging.
- Act as a communications ambassador within the organization, fostering a culture of open dialogue and continuous improvement.

Innovative Leadership:
- Stay ahead of industry trends to keep our communications fresh, relevant, and impactful.
- Embrace and lead change, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a dynamic business environment.

Educations / Training:
> Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in English, journalism, communication, or advertising
> 7-9 years of related management and job experience (e.g. copywriting, internal/external communications, or journalism)
> Timeshare industry experience required

> Exceptional technical and creative writing skills
> Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
> Driven and a self-starter with a high-level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
> Leadership and teamwork skills
> Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills
> Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects as an individual contributor
