Support the Senior Rental Audit Manager with all aspects of our Rental Audit program, including ensuring accurate room revenue postings nightly, ensuring proper credit card payments processing, assigning rooms with an eye for the highest and best use of inventory assets, and supporting other processes to ensure accurate room rental revenue reporting and collection.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit reservations systems to ensure timely entry of all reservations
- Ensure reservations have accurate room rates
- Charge advance deposits for future reservations
- Assign room numbers to create maximum efficiency and profitability
- Audit room rental revenue, adjust guest folios, and obtain payment (when applicable) to ensure maximum profitability
- Review daily automatic payment logs for incoming reservations and communicate directly with resort staff about payments that need further review
- Communicate directly with Resort Operations team members regarding guest needs and/or any other Operations-related reservations items
- Complete other projects as assigned by the Senior Rental Audit Manager
- All other duties as requested
Performs the job assigned complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws and ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
- At least two years of experience with hotel accounting auditor functions
- Knowledge of hotel process with knowledge of timeshare a plus, but not required
- SPI or Time Shareware knowledge a plus but not required
- Strong analytical capabilities to review, understand and formulate a strategy based on the reporting data available
- Ability to communicate positively to team members and management throughout the organization
- Detail-oriented and hands-on
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
