The Manager of FP&A supports the organization in providing robust analytical support to the VP of FP&A and executive leadership by providing financial insight and transparency to drive overall business performance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enhances, develops, prepares, and maintains internal management reporting
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date financial and statistical reports and presentations in support of the consolidated operating results of the company to internal and external leadership
  • Key resource in developing and enhancing reporting tools, solutions, and processes to support monthly reporting
  • Partners with Overhead Department heads and Revenue generating leaders to create the annual budgets
  • Supports long-range planning goals and processes
  • Understands and utilizes Sage 500 and other Business Intelligence tools to best support financial planning efforts
  • Partners with the financial reporting team to ensure consistent GAAP reporting and the accuracy of source reports for all reporting
  • Implements best practices, process improvements, and internal controls
  • Performs Ad Hoc financial models and analysis to support business decisions, as needed
  • Completes all required Company training and compliance courses as assigned
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting
  • Preferred: 1-3 years’ experience with GAAP reporting

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced technological aptitude and ability to design reports with Power BI or other Sequel Server Reporting tools
  • Healthy conceptual thinking, with the ability to innovate solutions that are practical and efficient and execute on them accordingly
  • Intellectually curious, with the desire to learn about the timeshare industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the aptitude and experience to build financial models from the ground up using macros and advanced formulaic equations
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced math skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
