Job Description - Non-Exempt

Position Title: Common Area Attendant

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor/General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Purpose

The Common Area Attendant provides and maintains a clean and friendly atmosphere for our guests and staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
  • Maintains a level of confidence and professionalism and reflects a positive image of our Resort and staff
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures
  • Knows of and maintains all safety measures, occupational hazards, and precautions that may apply
  • Maintains and cleans all designated areas
  • Empties trash
  • Mops and vacuums floors
  • Dusts, cleans restrooms, baseboards, etc.
  • Performs minor maintenance duties, such as changing light bulbs, filters, etc.
  • Manages storage and supplies, notifying manager when stock is low
  • All other duties as assigned

General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Timeshare experience a plus
  • Flexibility needed for scheduling purposes

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of cleaning processes
  • Some computer knowledge is preferred

Shift: Additional hours maybe necessary to accommodate business needs

  • Regular Hours and Weekend
