Area Selling Manager – Emerald Coast

Guide, direct, mentor, and lead the Sales Team in daily operations of vacation package sales. The Area Selling Manager is responsible for achieving personal and team performance quotas in vacation package sales while maintaining a high level of professionalism through brand standards. The Area Selling Manager plays a vital role in implementing new sales and marketing strategies to drive production from multiple locations including, but not limited to: face-to-face sales, in-room survey sales, pre-arrival guest communication, post-arrival guest communication, and various hospitality services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor the sales team
  • Responsible for individual production, consistently achieving established production standards as outlined in the department compensation plan.
  • Create excitement with sales team, clients and on-site staff
  • Coordinate and implement meetings/events to drive production while maintaining the highest professional standards with leadership, prospects, and owners
  • Develops, implements, and rotates promotional concepts to prevent stale and saturated programs in the market
  • Maintains and ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service from the assigned sales representative who will provide a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging the guest, maintaining exceptional standards and dependable product knowledge
  • Manages and maintain up to date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations while protecting the company
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing, hospitality or timeshare selling role
  • Ability to maintain a minimum number of sales closed and volume as measured by weekly sales reports

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Customer Service, Hospitality, and Presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess high morals and integrity
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel between locations up to 50+ miles
